TESTIMONIALS

"I am a huge fan of Moses Hasson's work at West Roxbury Framing. Fabulous quality at a more than fair price. I have been a client of Moses' work for several years and never have been disappointed. Easy to find on Centre Street in West Roxbury and you will always be proud to display his work and his workmanship!!"

"I cannot praise the work of Copley Art enough. Its owner Moses is a true artist and frames beautifully. He has a wonderful eye and I would recommend him highly."

“They're honest, very knowledgable, and just great to work with.” West Roxbury Framing Center has remarkably low prices, high quality, and a dedication to craft and customers that is so frequently missing these days.

I brought six pieces here to be framed, and Moses quoted me a cost that was between HALF and TWO THIRDS what I expected, based on past experience with other framers. And I was used to hunting for low-cost, so it's not as though the places I was going to in past were high-priced. I was blown away. Some of the smaller pieces I had he actually did for about $30. I couldn't believe it. And when I picked them up, they were beautiful. This is not a scenario of "you get what you pay for." The quality of the work and materials he used were great.

I have to admit that at first I was somewhat skeptical because we didn't spend a lot of time on each piece figuring out exact measurements and comparing a lot of different mats and frames. But I'm sure he'd have been happy to do so if I'd wanted to. Instead, I decided to trust him, and I have no regrets. And because I've given him several pieces now, he continues to give me fantastic prices.

More recently, I brought him two pieces, and was given a price by his associate. A day or two later I received a call from Moses, suggesting that the pieces would benefit from a double-mat. At no additional cost. He was just going to do it for free. Why? Because he felt it would look better. Now THAT is customer service and dedication to ones craft that is all-too-often missing these days.

I will likely never get my framing done anywhere else. If you want to get a good job done, with someone who knows what he's doing, and get a great price, you really should check out this place. They're honest, very knowledgable, and just great to work with.”

“By far the most professional and expedient with the most extensive options for frames. As a Boston based professional photographer I searched all over the city for the best framing store in town. After going to over 5 different local framing stores, the people at Copley Art & Framing were by far the most professional and expedient with the most extensive options for frames. Any time I have a large order of custom frames I need made they are always in direct communication with me and always give me an amazing finished product. They are incredibly knowledgeable with regard to the types of glass and have great advice for choosing the proper mat and frame to best compliment my work.”

"They do an amazing job, are flexible, consistent, and most of all, fairly priced!" I've had 8-9 different pieces framed here. They do an amazing job, are flexible, consistent, and most of all, fairly priced! They work with your budget and will make something for everyone. And for those that don't know what they want, they will suggest frame types, matting types, etc. I would get anything/everything framed here if you have a choice."

"So nice to deal with businesses that value integrity. We had a nice experience here. When we picked up the piece, there was actually a nick in one side of the frame that they acknowledged and were totally cool about re-doing at their cost. So nice to deal with businesses that value integrity."

"I would give them 10 stars if I could. These days, it is so rare and special to come across the type of service and craftsmanship they offer. Over the past few years, I have had two pieces framed at this fine establishment - I am very happy with both - but completely taken by the most recent job.

If I move away from the area, I will make the drive to WRFC every time. Here's why:

1) Superior Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail. The assortment of frames from which to choose is just the right balance of choice without being overwhelmed. The quality of the framing job is excellent, they have an eye for what will look great, and the final product exceeded my expectations both times.

2) Sincere Service. I am humbled by the level of respect and attention I received at WRFC. The first time I went an older gentleman helped me, who couldn't have been any kinder. The 2nd time I was helped by a younger craftsman, who treated my piece with such respect. It might not have looked like anything special to him (was a decorative cloth I acquired during my travels) but he acknowledged that it was special and let me know it was in good hands. That kind of attention to detail and respect is so special and hard to come by these days. I was very grateful.

3) Reasonable Prices. The prices are very fair! I once had a piece framed at a place in Cambridge (on Mass Ave near Porter), not only did they charge an exorbitant amount, they cut off a part of the piece and it wasn't centered correctly. For nearly $500, I am still upset about the inattention to detail and am reminded every time I look at the painting, nearly 5 years later. This lack of service would never happen at WRFC - and you will still be charged fairly.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. These days, it is so rare and special to come across the type of service and craftsmanship they offer. They are superb."

"The finished work looks great and the service we received was very good at all times. Very happy! Great place! I had two large canvases to stretch and frame. One of them was about 7x3 ft and the other one about 4x3 ft. Their price was a bit less than 1000$ for both of them, which is between 30 and 50% lower than at other places we visited.

They finished the work in about 2 weeks and called to let me know that they were ready to pick up and also to make sure I realized I needed a large truck or van in order to fit them. The finished work looks great and the service we received was very good at all times. Very happy!"

"The guy working behind the counter was extremely friendly, knew exactly what I was looking for, and (most important) was affordable.

All I wanted was a simple black metal custom frame for a $5 concert poster.  I drove all over Boston getting estimates from $150 to $200!  I had gotten similar frames in CA for only $20-$60.  I stumbled across  this place after an online search and it was totally worth it.  The guy working behind the counter was extremely friendly, knew exactly what I was looking for, and (most important) was affordable.  I would use this place again in a second."
